Universal Works returns with latest Yogi collab

Following on from the success of their initial collaborative project with certified masters of the laid-back moccasin, Yogi, Universal Works embarks on its latest joint venture available for Spring/Summer ’24.

Infusing Yogi’s signature silhouettes with a distinct UW twist, this latest collection returns for Spring Summer with the Hitch Loafer, a design adapted from their Hitch Shoe, specifically for the last collaboration. This season, it returns in hairy suede, in a refreshing sand colourway, with a crepe outsole.

Yogi’s Floyd II Mules, an effortless summer shoe, made in a mix of tumbled and reverse tumbled leather returns alongside the Rudy II Loafers in tumbled leather, initially chosen as the perfect pairing for UW’s suiting, but versatile enough for everyday wear.

Last, but not least, the Olson Boat Shoe in soft suede, a personal favourite of UW’s co-founder David Keyte, stands out as a comfortable and breathable shoe — consistent with all Yogi’s footwear, thanks to the unlined leathers and suedes they use throughout.

To maintain consistency and further emphasise the UW touch, the brand has reintroduced the collaborative hand-stitched cross detail seen in the previous capsule. David Keyte shares says; “Paul and Samira at Yogi and our team had already worked together during Autumn Winter ‘23, on some new iterations of their styles with small changes to make them feel a little more UW. We wanted to continue with that for the new season in some more seasonally appropriate colours, as well as introducing my personal favourite, the Olson Boat Shoe.”

Available now at Universal Works online and in-store.
