The ‘Vronsky’ boot is the fourth collaboration between Veras and The Casual Connoisseur. Given the great demand for all things CC, they’re sure to be another popular choice. And let’s face it, summer may be coming but it’ll only last a weekend, so boots are needed for the forseeable future.
Taking name and inspiration from the cult classic movie The Deer Hunter, this is a boot where the Mediterranean meets the mountains.
Veras shoes have been making their own fancy footwear since 2010 and have also recently collaborated with LESS Taiwan and Manchester’s Oi Polloi, plus there’s a forthcoming project with 6876.
Available in a famous five colours ; Whisky, Navy, Grey, Moss and Blood Orange (defintely not Red), these are handmade in a factory with over 50 years experience, using the best suede and materials available.
These are extremely light in weight compared to similarly styled counterparts, and it’s very much a deliberate thing. The chunky EVA sole unit makes them super comfy and something you don’t have to worry about breaking in for ages.
You’ve even got a choice of laces, with raw hide or waxed cotton contrast colours.
As with all Casualco stuff, the add-ons and attention to detail is immaculate. This comes with collectors presentation pack full of Deer Hunter and US themed merchandise.
Limited to just 30 per colour. Available from exclusively online from shop.casualco.com Friday March 6th.
As they say themselves, fastest fingers first.
