We love a list, here at Proper. Six of the Best, Proper Picks and all that. We wanted another format that’d shape a nice, neat article and realised it was staring us in the face. Instead of just choosing 5 random things, we’ve woven them into an outfit, ahead of the weekend.

Because climbing pants in off white are a counter-intuitive classic. Ok, so they call them ‘greige’ which is a hybrid of grey and beige, and a colour often used in fashion pre-garment dyeing, but we’re having off white, like climbing chalk.

Because always making nice things with good brands, Oi Polloi’s own in-house imprint goes from strength to strength by way of these socks. They look more comfortable than the dictionary definition of comfort, repeat printed on a really comfortable cushion.
