hummel are doing great things again, this time with New York Menswear Designer Willy Chavarria as the two come together for a debut collection inspired by football/soccer/footy as a global unifier. Embracing a range of signature design elements from both, the collection is branded with the numbers 5683 to correspond with the numbers for L-O-V-E on the American key pad. hummel’s iconic chevrons feature heavily alongside re-interpretations of both the Willy Chavarria and hummel logos in a blend of red, white and black colourways.
Alongside the release will be a campaign entitled ‘Spread the 5683’ in support of immigrants living in the US including a special spotlight on those who play football. The Willy Chavarria x hummel is not only a mad-looking and vibrant collection, but it’s also a testament to both footballing heritage across the world and the power of sport in improving the lives of future generations.
