You may recall us telling you about the latest Woolrich campaign recently, the one that’s being fronted by the legendary Ms. Lauryn Hill. Well stand by for part two from the pioneers of the parka as the lovely Ms. Hill has been joined by up-and-coming musicians from experimental jazz ensemble Onyx Collective. Reflecting the AW18 campaign’s tagline of ‘American Soul Since 1830’ singer/songwriter Raphaelle, and blues/jazz singer Zarina Nares are on board due to being fans of the brand and it’s rich and enduring heritage. As Raphaelle explains “Woolrich is a brand rooted in tradition and family. It’s a name that has been built through the generations and represents a craftsmanship and integrity that is timeless– it’s like a great record.” Which I have to agree with, though how many records do you own that can hold your car keys/phone/wallet, make you look like a million dollars and keep you warm as toast even on the coldest winters day?
