There are many things I love about Coach jackets but I think a large part of their appeal is that you can wear one pretty much all year round. Apart from the occasional blizzard or heatwave the coach jacket is an easy choice when perusing the coat rack before heading out. Those German geniuses at A Kind of Guise have made a pretty stunning version of this seasonal allrounder in a beautiful grey tweed with a satin quilted inner lining. Maybe I’ve watched too many cold war movies but for me it’s a jacket that has some strong pre-communist collapse vibes and strikes me as the perfect mix of Western luxury with DDR efficiency.
