The big apple vibes are back as a bonafide classic returns to Wellgosh. Originally released in the 1980s the adidas New York first re-emerged as part of Gary Aspden’s 2015 SPZL collection that paid homage to Carlos, the owner of ‘that’ adidas deadstock emporium in Buenos Aires.
After a number of re-issues in a variety of colourways it’s good to see this retro runner return to the shelves in that iconic concrete grey and halo blush. Constructed using a combination of suede, mesh and recycled materials these lightweight winners are the perfect wheels for both raving and wandering this summer.
