After selling their three stripes to Adi Dassler back in the 1950s, legendary sportswear brand Karhu’s next power move was to set about developing the first air cushioned trainers ever in the 1970s that was quickly copied by several other well known brands from around the world. Ten years on and in 1982 a lightweight, unisex runner called the Albatross shoe proved to be one of Karhu’s most popular models and so the Finnish brand have gone back to the archive and replicated this iconic, old school scando-jogger for your spring/summer cushion-footed pleasure. The Albatross has landed!
