and wander’s Early Bid for Jacket of the Season

and wander (or is it And Wander? Or even AndWander?) have quietly elbowed themselves a place at the top table of outerwear this last decade or so. Founded in 2011 by Designers Keita Ikeuchi and Mihoko Mori, it takes inspiration from the Japanese outdoors, with technically sound gear that will turn heads on the street as well as in the mountains.

This PERTEX Printed Rain Jacket benefits from 3L waterproofing and mini ripstop material which makes the ideal companion when the clouds clash and empty their load of damp sadness all over us.

More than that, it’s just got a really nice shape and a pattern that looks like it’s inspired by autumn, but not the one we’re just starting. More a utopian version with mountains, trees and freshwater lakes, and ironically none of the aforementioned rain.

We’re calling it now, this might be an early contender for our jacket of the season.
