Karhu Trampas ‘Friendship’ Pack

In honur of the Tokyo Olympics, Finland’s Karhu is celebrating a deep, rich friendship with Japan. The Finnish team were some of the few foreigners who traveled and competed in the Fukuoka Marathon in 1947.

The Trampas running silhouette, released in the ’60s, is an iconic piece of Karhu’s history. Sir Arthur Lydiard, one of the greatest distance running coaches of all time, described the shoe as “the best training shoe in the world.”

The new Friendship pack is inspired by the national colours of Finland and Japan. The Japanese M-Logo Trampas has a white grained leather upper with red suede detailing; the Finnish version has blue suede with leather support. Both feature gold Karhu print detail.

The pack is available worldwide from karhu.com on the 30th July.
