I enjoy the quest for unearthing something a bit quirky that always comes with a Lacoste Live item of clothing. This time around I’ve discovered that what looks like a straight up two button, striped polo also has a hidden message. Beneath that smiling crocodile is a subliminally embroidered ‘La Chemise’ pre-fixing the Lacoste. Why have they done this? I neither know, nor care, I just enjoyed the thrill of the chase and the fact that it’s there. Sterling work all round Lacoste, this is why you’re at the top of the French casual wear tree.
