Dubai’s Sole DXB have partnered up with Virgin Megastore for an experimental update to it’s own concept store, Early Retirement. This innovative new approach features specially imported retail vending machines and exclusive collaborations, event merchandise and rare Tokyo sourced goods. In place for just 3 days the machines at this pop cultural pop-up will be selling everything from Andy Warhol and Fragment Be@rbrick collectible toys, to 8-Bit music composers and original 1980’s Walkmans & hip-hop tapes all hand selected from Tokyo’s best kept backstreet secret stores.
To commemorate the event Sole DXB have also produced a 13 piece monochrome collection that will be sold exclusively through Early Retirement. T-shirts, hoodies, caps and pins make up the capsule alongside a Wacko Maria collab that comprises of a heavyweight ‘dancing geisha’ tee and a Asagra bandana that has a traditional Japanese Kimono pattern on it.
