Leeds retailer Tomorrow Store are celebrating their favourite independent neighbours.

Independent business is better done together.

Tomorrow store is one of the north’s hidden gems. It’s racks are filled with highly desirable items from globally sourced cult brands. They like to do business with a personal touch meaning you’ll often find products from local creatives on offer too.

Their strong ethos has built a healthy community around the shop which shares its premises with Leeds renowned restaurant/cafe/bar/green grocers/natural winery Eat Your Greens.

As well as selling goods Tomorrow are always working on their own projects, the most recent of which examines the special culture of independent businesses in Leeds. It takes the form of a zine and collection of garments connecting the dots between institutions such as Screw Gallery, Printshop, Outlaws, Alto Radio, Lightabox, Village and legendary Leeds spot Thai Aroy Dee.

Speaking about the project they said

“The idea behind the campaign came from our desire to share our good and bad experiences as an independent business, but also to celebrate the beauty by highlighting our friends, neighbours, supporters & fellow indies.

We want to thank all of the independent businesses involved, all of which are real friends, people we chill with, drink with, play music with, work with, actively support and who do the same for us.

A percentage of profits from each item sold will be donated to Pafras whogive help, support and advice to refugees and asylum seekers in Leeds.”

Theres a launch party with tunes and drinks this Sunday the 7th at the shop. Pop down and get involved in the community.
