As Mark and I are now self-proclaimed kings of the mountain (we’ll explain more in issue 20 of the mag) we’ve been looking for the ultimate in rugged yet regal footwear, a boot at the very peak of perfection if you will. And lo and behold we’ve found them thanks to Hiroki Nakamura and his insanely good Visvim Serra Boots, which are, I’m sure you’ll agree a vision of hikerdelic horween happiness in vibram-soled form. I mean sure they’re expensive but you get what you pay for and when you pay for these boots you’ll be getting a pair of boots that are the Mount Everest of the boot world, it just doesn’t get any better. In fact they’ve sent me completely west, actually it could be the altitude, I’m off for a blast of oxygen and some Kendal mint cake.
