An Anglo-German tie up – Oswen Koln

Founded by Mancunian Paul Tudor, Oswen is a responsible German shoe brand.

Using core materials sources from as close to production as possible, everything is considered with Oswen. Even their use of leather is done with an eye on its biodegradable quality and the fact it lasts for so long which should negate the need to keep consuming. Using crepe from the Hevea Brasiliensis tree, cork from the Cork Oak tree and where possible, faux-leather substitute fabrics, their footwear takes the familiar suede and crepe format and adds another layer or two to the story.

The fact the brand combines the pioneering spirit of the North West of England with the practical, teutonic spirit of Germany makes it a unique link up.
