It’s time to show some lockdown love for Good Measure, who this week have cast themselves as the artisan architects of acid tests. Just 11 garments have been produced, each with characteristic individual tie dye. What’s all the more impressive is they’ve done this themselves by hand.
Inspired by a desire to “pay homage to The Electric Kool-aid Acid Test and create sweats that look like one of the Merry Pranksters had just dropped it off in a thrift store on Haight St.” is what they reckon. So if you’re inspired by tales of communal LSD indulgence, these are for you. And if you’re not, get with the programme, Daddio.
Whether a sweat or hoodie, these will make a statement when you emerge from hibernation, slimmer from all that exercise you’ve been doing, bronzed from eating your lunch in the garden and refreshed from the break.
