Outdoor brand Helly Hansen have just launched their AW21 with Matches, just in time for when we really need it.
To mark this occasion, they’ve put together a short film and exclusive imagery featuring Oslo-based endurance runner Patrick Stangbye. Shot in and around the city, outlying forests and coastal areas of Oslo, Patrick puts key pieces from the modular collection through their paces both in urban and natural environments. He also speaks passionately about what it means to be Norwegian, and how the country’s relationship with nature and the elements has shaped this meaning.
Injecting inspiration from Helly Hansen’s 140 year history in technical sailing apparel, the AW21 collection incorporates modular products that are integrated and designed to be worn together, with key styles including the “HH 5-1 Storm Coat”. This is a modular full-length oceanic parka that can be worn in 5 ways and features interchangeable spray hood, removable panels and reflective details for heightened visibility.
