Heresy was founded by long-time friends Dominic Owen and Jasper Dunk, who met at school more than 20 years ago. Their expertise as illustrators and shared appreciation of a certain type of mythical, often British imagery. Their ability to pair folklore with fun is what sets them apart, along with stellar shoots like this from our pal Jay Johnson. The Manchester-based photographer has shot a few familiar faces to mark Heresy’s AW23 range.
Mushrooms, stone circles and all that stuff might be on trend, which is handy for Heresy, but they’ve been around for over a decade now, so this isn’t a fad for them. They were on this stuff before the high street latched on and will probably be doing it better than them for a good while longer, too.
