Every time I find myself writing gushing praise of an armless jacket, waistcoat or similar, I can’t resist writing the words “Gilet, the best a man can get”. What’s wrong with me? I mean, if we’re being picky there are many of such items which can lay claim to the title of being the best. In truth it depends what you want from this transitional garment. In this effort by the legendary C.P. Company you’ll find something suitably seasonal with all the pockets one could need. While the lens has long since transcended mere function, it adorns this piece like a logo would.
