Patta & New Balance collaborate on Made in UK 991v2

Patta have joined their old pals at New Balance to celebrate the evolution of an iconic shoe.

Combining premium materials with bold colours this new take on the Made in UK 991v2 comes in two versions, both of which we need in our collective lives.

The project began via Patta’s own appreciation for the 991. When New Balance evolved that shoe via the v2 iteration, it began the perfect vehicle to mark the next chapter in their ongoing friendship. Arriving with nubuck, leather and mesh, it’s the fluorescent shade of yellow that makes these stand out initially, though once your eye is diverted to them, the quality shines through.

Co-branding products can sometimes be a test but when you’ve got logos like New Balance and Patta, both of which are pretty much embedded in the consciousness of anyone who knows about trainers, you can’t really get it wrong.

Coming in colours they’re calling sea moss and pickle beet, these launch first via Patta’s own channels, be it their website, app or in store via London, their native Amsterdam or Milan. A week later the pickle beet version drops via newbalance.com and via select retailers.
